Dear Aido Backers,

Thank you for the continued support and patience. Our goal is to deliver the best product possible and we are focusing all bandwidth on product development. We are a rapidly growing company trying to achieve what most people thought is impossible.

There are four parts to our Update

InGen Dynamics raises Pre-Series A round

Further validating our product and our business – we are happy to announce that InGen has received close to an additional $250K in commitments from a group of prominent investors in Silicon Valley.

The cash injunction once closed will be used to  develop the product, expand the team, and explore further business opportunities.

We also have 3 leading VC funds who we are engaging with for our Series A round which we expect to close in the near term. However this is still in the negotiation stage.

Team and Office Facilities

We have added significant headcount to our Research and Development Team. Our team has expanded to 15 in our Bangalore location in India, and, we are targeting headcount to reach 20 research and development engineers with the current financing being closed.

We are also expanding our US offices after closing our Pre-Series A funding.

We have also leased an additional 800 square feet, testing and prototyping facility for ironing out all the issues with Aido.

Significant Additions include

a. Android Team – We now have four full time team members working on accelerating the product progress
b. Mechanical engineering – Dedicated team member to work on current iteration.

We still have challenges in these areas

– Application development – We are targeting to release the application bundle as a beta soon.
Mobility – The balancing is functional, But we are still testing for reliability and, continuous run, and reducing the motor chatter.

– Partnerships with a large and experienced  Robot manufacturing firm

We have engaged with a large and experienced Robotics manufacturing partner to start our roll out. We will announce details on this shortly.

Aido’s use cases has been selected to be showcased at one of the world’s largest Science Museum. We will be releasing further information as this gets finalized.
